We
invite you to visit the web site of renowned Canadian artist
and sculptor, Elaine Macphearson at a later date. In
the meantime Elaine can be contacted through her e mail
address. Elaine appreciates the unique personalities of
donkeys and portrays this is her art work. Some of her
best known "donkey" art work includes the bronze "Rise and Shine" & the
oil on canvas of the "Mini Donkey Dash". Elaine is currently
producing a four piece series of bronzes depicting donkey foals.
Also new for 2005 will be an oil on canvas of donkeys. The
unveiling for Elaine's new pieces will be held 5:00 PM Friday,
July 8th 2005 at the Cooke farm. Dinner & refreshments
will be served. Plan to come to the Annual Rocky Mountain Miniature
Donkey Sale, Saturday, July 9th. Here are some web sites for International
Artists who have portrayed some wonderful donkeys. I
enjoyed visiting with these artists at the Equitana in Essen,
Germany this year.

Pam
has sculpted some wonderful donkeys! She
really captures the spirit and mischievous personality of
the donkey. My favorite bronze is "Nana et Cookie". Pam's
series of donkey bronzes are available for sale.

Gabriele
Laubinger is a wonderful animal artist. You can commission
her to do a portrait by post by forwarding a typical
photo of your donkey (or dog... or whatever you have). Gabriele
works in many different mediums, including watercolour, charcoal
or oil. Her work is delightful and really captures the
personality of the animal.

John
Read had a wonderful art display at the Equitana in
Essen, Germany. He will do art commissions
of donkeys or any other animals. You will love the realism
of his work and the spirit that he captures.

Catherine
Thiry is another artist that was at the Equitana in Essen. She
had a wonderful 100 X100 cm. oil on canvas called "Marrakech" - it
was a jennet with her new born foal. Hopefully we can encourage
Cathrine to do more donkeys on canvas, because this painting
was very appealing.
